A new beginning

In 2005 I started to “blog” and Puleen.com was born. While I tried to post on a regular basis, over the years I noticed that there were a lot of things that I wanted to write about, thoughts that I wanted to share with a wider audience. However, I wasn’t doing a very good job as my writing was very irregular and infrequent.

As 2008 comes to an end there are many things that I want to accomplish in the next 3 to 4 years. Over the past few years I have learned a lot, experienced new things in life and in the workplace, understood about new technologies, businesses and got to know many new people personally and professionally.

One of the biggest highlights of this year was my turning 30. As I turned 30, I looked back at what I have accomplished thus far and am very happy to be at the stage where I am, personally and professionally. It is a great feeling to have set goals and to look back, connect the dots on what worked and didn’t, what was accomplished and what remains outstanding. Going back to my previous thought, this time around I hope to be better organized with my thoughts and everything that shapes them. I see myself trying to write more and share my thoughts with others.

Learning is a never ending process and moving forward my goal is to use this great tool, blogging/social networking, as a way to share thoughts/ideas and learn from those out there.

That being said, I have decided to purge all historical information that was accumulated over the past three years. While it was good information, it needed to go. We try to accumulate things for far too long and the same applies to information. While information is good to look back on, sometimes one just needs to learn from the past and move on to a new beginning.

Cheers!
