Ultra-not-so-violet

UltravioletLast week while in Denver, couple of colleagues and myself decided to catch the action flick Ultraviolet. The movie is set in the 21st Century where humans have been modified by a vampire like disease giving them brute strength, speed and intelligence, and oh yeah it stars Milla Jovovich.

What did I think about this movie? Coming out of this movie, I wasn’t disappointed, because I didn’t really set any high expectations going into the movie. This movie was a total failure. Apart from the action sequences, rich use of colour and animation, the plot was not interesting, neither was the acting. It’s the same tale that has been told by many other movies in the past, with minute differences here and there. This movie seemed like a comic book rendition, but failed miserably. The only thing that I found somewhat entertaining were good cinematography, action, nifty use of technology, and of course Milla.

For more miserable reviews check other reviews, this movie is definitely not worth watching in theatre.

Cheers!
