You know what really grinds my gears?

As Peter Griffin had his version of the “You know what really grinds my gears”, I decided to have a web version of things that really annoy, irritate, or out right make me really mad.

This is going to be a list that will have more things added to it as days go by, if there is something that you think belongs in this list, feel free to email me or add a comment and I will add the item to the list.

So here goes the list of “what really grinds my gears”:

  1. People who ask for your opinion when they’ve already made a decision.
  2. Don’t say Yes when you mean to say No!
  3. When leaving home make sure to leave your attitude behind.
  4. Don’t talk about what you want to do and how the world should be, do something to change it.
  5. Do not whine about how bad you have it, there are many people in the world who have it worse than you do.
  6. Appreciate life, your self and those around you.
  7. The show Lost, what’s the deal with that, they aren’t really lost. They were lost apparently with a fully equipped camera crew and are able to shoot what they go through without running out of battery power. I dont buy it one bit.
  8. Be yourself and not like the Popstar or Rapper you see on Television.
  9. Take your superiority complexes and throw it in the garbage.
  10. Agreeing with everything that you read in the magazines or watch on the news.
  11. If you are a smoker, have the decency to ask someone if it is ok for you to light up a smoke. If they are ok with it, don’t blow the smoke in their face. That isn’t very nice. How would you like if I burped openly in front of your face? Exactly.
  12. If you’re going to preach to others, follow your own ‘teachings’. Don’t be a hypocrite.
  13. Recruiters, specially those who are desperate to build a client base but have little or no knowledge of the industry. They would make good managers though. :)
  14. What is with people who think they know you more than you know yourself. If that is the case, what colour underwear do I like to wear? Tell me that, no really tell me that, please!
  15. If you consider yourself a friend, start acting like one.
  16. People who talk to you only when they need something from you.
