Motivational speeches

Most people have books, articles, movies and so on that inspire and motivate them. In my case I find the following two videos to be truly motivational.

These two videos truly sum up what we as individuals should be doing. We should be following what makes sense to us. Not follow what society, magazines, movies, media, television, parents, peers and other things dictate to be the right thing to do. Given that the aforementioned are still factors or interested parties whom we need to keep in mind, but the final decision and onus is upon us to do what “I” want to do, where “I” want to be, how “I” see myself developing & growing.

Here are both of the videos and I hope that you find the same level of inspiration and motivation that I find every time I watch these. And yes, I do watch them frequently.

Update: While browsing through the internet, I also found that William Lam has a similar post outlining the Top 5 Motivational Clips that he likes to watch. Interestingly enough both of these happen to be on his list along with a few others. If you have a minute, please have a look.

1. Steve Jobs Commencement speech at Stanford in 2005.

2. Randy Pausch’s, The Last Lecture

Cheers!
