Ingredients of Success

July 3, 2007 – 8:31 pm

I haven’t written anything on here for a while. I came across a great article today. It mentions a few good points of what success really means and how it should be defined. Having read the points, I felt the need to share it with whomever that might be interested. The article can be found at, Success Recipes. Read the rest of this entry »

During my insomnia spell last night, I decided to integrate the OpenID plugin for WordPress. If you are interested you can get the plug-in from VerseLogic website at http://verselogic.net/projects/wordpress/wordpress-openid-plugin/.

Pretty neat. Cheers!

Good bye Messenger Live

Say no to Messenger Live

I’ve had it with Messenger Live, from now on I am boycotting Messenger and only dealing with the other two IM platforms, Google Talk and Yahoo Messenger. Good bye Messenger Live!

Solar energy in your household

January 17, 2007 – 11:56 pm

Came across this great article of how solar energy is being utilized by one New Jersey resident to power not only his house, but also his car.

Solar power eliminates utility bills in U.S. home, courtesy of Reuters.

Sure the cost of such conversion is high initially, but these type of things can be mass manufactured to bring the cost down. The more people adopt these alternative energy sources, the cheaper it will become. And one can only imagine how much of a reduction it will bring in greenhouse gases.

Hopefully as predicted within the next five to 10 years we as humans get enlightened about our environment and actually do something about it. Until then, we’re nothing but puppets.

Cheers!

Not hot enough!

January 5, 2007 – 12:20 am

Tim Hortons Lately I find myself complaining that Tim Hortons coffee just isn’t hot enough. In the past their coffee has always been nice and hot, but as of late within about five to ten minutes I find myself drinking cold coffee. What is going on here? Read the rest of this entry »

HBR on Leadership

January 4, 2007 – 11:14 pm

Harvard Business Review is a magazine that I subscribe to, and they have published a special issue titled “The Tests of a Leader”. This issue is really mind blowing. It shows you aspects of leadership in real life and what true leaders are made of. Some of the real-life examples they provide are stories from CEO’s and Managers who have proven themselves to be great leaders in their line of work, whether it be a multi-national company or a small division within a company. Happy New Year

January 2, 2007 – 11:53 pm

Wish you all a very best for the new year, welcome 2007. Hope that you bring more sanity in this insane world. Less political bullshit and more humanitarian goals. Let us hope that people appreciate the smaller (and much more valuable) things in life. One can only hope that we put ourselves (humanity) above everything else. One can only hope!

Let your passion drive you, not material needs and wants. True satisfaction is that which is obtained in satisfying basic necessities of those in need.

Cheers!

You’re never going to bring me down!

December 15, 2006 – 12:58 am

Nothing you or anyone else can do that will bring me down again. You can say or do anything you want. No matter how hard you try, my strength can never be broken. I’ve got a strong will, and it will overcome all calamities that you have to throw at me. You can try throwing grenades and rockets, they might destroy me physically, but mentally I am heavier than gold, stronger than a diamond, sharper than a samurai’s sword. You will just have to defeat me at my game, but I am so much better at that too.

If my life’s the good life, then your’s gotta give!

Get it yourself

December 8, 2006 – 11:37 am

I’ve been known to rant on my own and speak out loud what is in my mind. This is one of those things.

Never expect anything from anyone. If there is something you need/want, go and get it. Chances are if you rely on someone else or have high expectations from them, you will be disappointed. And when that happens it is not a good feeling.

Cheers!

Self.Age()++

October 30, 2006 – 7:24 pm

Another year goes by, a new one begins. Wondering what magic it has in store. Hoping there is something meaningful at the end of it all. Thinking, back on the year that went by and what was accomplished.

Cheers!
